I believe that you should wait till you actually are sorry. It's not the truth. Of course if it is a must, like you have to, then I would and give your heart time. One white lie could ruin everything. Trust in your self and do what you think you should do.
We can try to tell you what is right but a human, of course being human, would do what they want to do instead. I think I would need to know your situation, if you have one, better. If its a random question that is fine too. Listen we all make mistakes, some we don't think are that important or hurt others. I would give your self time and if you must apologize early, I would not.
Trust me, you'll let down two people either way if you use those options. So give yourself time and then try. Remember I'm here any time for help. I can try to change your actions, but its really up to you.
